How do you charge for your services?
Red Door Remodeling offers an initial consultation and estimate for free. Because each project is unique, pricing is based on the specific materials requested, scope of the project, and time required for completion. Estimates may be provided as either a contract price or time and material. If you would like a free consultation and estimate, please contact us.
What does the remodeling process involve?
When you inquire about a project, we will schedule a time to come out to your house and do an initial consultation. If design services are needed, 3-D renderings of your project will be provided to you. As soon as a solid plan is produced, an estimate will be delivered to you. Once the estimate is finalized, a contract is agreed upon and work begins. At the completion of the project, a one-year labor warranty is provided to you.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, Red Door Remodeling is fully licensed and insured. Our Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC) number is 87821.
Do you handle small jobs?
Yes. Although most of the jobs profiled on our site are large, we are happy to help you with any size job.
Do you provide a warranty on your work?
Yes, Red Door Remodeling gives all clients a one-year warranty on labor.
I have a home in a historic community. Can you help guide me through the requirements involved in the renovation process?
In some instances, we can provide support and guidance with local historic regulations. Specifically, we have experience with Baltimore City’s CHAP (Commission for Historical and Architectural Preservation) process, but we are able to help address other areas as well.
